The city of Friendswood has four parks within its city limits. The Friendswood Sportspark has 4 lighted softball fields, 3 soccer fields, and a concession stand. This park allows for many organizational youth and adult sports groups to come and compete in a friendly atmosphere. If you are looking for a traditional park, visit Stevenson Park. This park has several amenities such as covered picnic areas, a gazebo, playground equipment, basketball court, and tennis courts. For swimming, Friendswood provides a public pool located at Stevenson Park called the Friendswood City Pool. Here you can sign up for swimming lessons, take a few laps in the pool, or rent the entire facility for a group outing or party.
